Macy Marie Hernandez started her theatre education journey with Compass Creative Dramatics, a Chicago based touring Children's theatre as the Education Apprentice. Touring in Chicago, IL and Sheboygan, WI in 2016, she taught original adapted musicals, Peas and Harmony, Jumping Jacks and the Beanstalk, and Wizard of Oz in the span of 5 days. During tour she taught puppetry, improv, and stage combat workshops to students 1st-12th grade, assisted her tour partners in directing the show, and led theatre games. Following the end of the 2016 tours, she was appointed as a resident teaching artist and camp coordinator for the organization. She continues to teach workshops in theatre related topics in the Chicagoland area and Chicago proper.

- Sends email blasts to camper families regarding information about camp through ConstantContact
- Manages tour camp teams and updates them with camp information
- Organizes tour supplies in preparation for each camp week
